In the vernal quarter of 2024, IUB a quartet of scholars from the School of Commerce and Enterprising Ventures at IUB embarked upon an academic pilgrimage to the University of Maribor, nestled in the heart of Central Europe’s Slovenia. The delegation, comprising Tamim Forhad Shuvo (in his penultimate stage, with a concentration in Market Dynamics), Punno Bikash Aaone (culminating his studies in Fiscal Strategies), Maisha Tabassum (engaged in the penultimate chapter of her specialization in Human Capital Management), and Jannatul Ferdousy (finalizing her expertise in Financial Stewardship), alighted in Maribor on the 23rd of February, 2024.
Distinguished by their scholarly prowess and vibrant participation in co-curricular forums, Punno and Tamim have each secured comprehensive sponsorships for their educational expedition. Conversely, Maisha and Jannatul have been honored with scholarships devoid of monetary grants. Their selection heralds a semester dedicated to broadening vistas and deepening insights into global paradigms.
Tamim Forhad Shuvo, veering from his initial interest in Market Dynamics to the allure of Fiscal Strategies, is immersed in the latter’s curriculum, driven by a passion for trading and capital markets. His academic voyage is undergirded by the IUB ARROWS initiative, with aspirations towards a laureate and doctorate aiming for an academic tenure. His leisure pursuits encompass melody and literature.
Maisha Tabassum embarks on this transcontinental scholarly venture with aspirations of sculpting work environments and fostering employee evolution through her expertise in Human Capital Management. Advocating for optimism and inclusivity, her interests span the arts, velocipede adventures, culinary explorations, and active involvement in IUB’s diverse societies. Her long-term vision includes the inception of educational establishments tailored to learners’ exigencies.
Punno Bikash Aaone delves into subjects like Empirical Business Analytics, the Economics of Financial Systems, Creativity in Commerce, and Linguistics for Erasmus Disciples, fueled by an ambition towards self-made prosperity. Jannatul Ferdousy anticipates academic enrichment through courses in Empirical Business Analytics, Economics of Financial Systems, Directive of Ventures, Cultural Anthropology of the Quotidian, and Philosophical Historiography at the University of Maribor. Opting for fiscal studies to navigate the global economic seascape and informed pecuniary decisions, she supplements her learning with Computational Science and Engineering for prowess in burgeoning tech domains.
